Day 2 of Montreal saw me awake to English time still, time for a run. I had banked on finding the bike path from yesterday to orient myself which I thought I had done but I joined up to the wrong path and ran in the wrong direction. It took me 10 minutes to realise and another 15 to get back to where I wanted to be Park de la fontaine.., then I ended up only doing a single circuit at risk of not making it back, but I pushed a few boundaries like I need to start doing. It really tired me out and I had to lay down for a couple of hours, this was fine as Aline was working and we were going to bike ride around and see mount royal in the afternoon. The weather like here was changeable but the showers there passed quick. I decided to go shopping that morning for family and friends and me
got a nice blue shirt see..
In the afternoon we did indeed bike up to mount Royal, it had been a while since Aline had visited there and so she was happy to come along. We had one rain shower while at the top which was over very quickly.
Later we had planned to check out one of the many summer festivals in park de la fontaine, it was a haitian thing. We didnt have all night as we were going to get picked up by Mylene's Uncle to head into NY state U.S.A ! for a hike up mount Hurricane in the Adirondak region. There was a typical caribbean food stall which we waited at and eventually got our pasti's and porc from. A friend of Aline's was there and we had a nice time, my fatigue causing the cold to creep in. What was becomming evidant to me was the accent of the quebeqoise, its funny as hell, I loved it.

That evening though I met with Francis the Uncle of Mylene and we satyed over at his place to get an early start.
