I left for san pedro sula with dean to visit his girlfriend and go out with them in san pedro sula. We were to stay at maidey's (deans G.F.) mothers house along with her 2 brothers. Like in many parts houses house whole families to make ends meet, im no exception in our westernised world here. We had some really excellent nights out, which contrasted beautifully with roatan
San Pedro Sula , the city which most people look at with horror, its hot and crowded and full of hasslers. But if you're with someone who knows where to go of a night time it can be a good time. I guess having money in your pocket and taking taxi's everywhere helps. We went out thursday friday AND saturday saturday-day was a BBQ at the house and some other people came around. I missed maybe half of the mostly spanish conversation but my spansh came on enourmously.
The worst nightspot was actually the swankiest called the 1201 club, the wanted to see our passports to get in ! It was full of the SPS top set, which are much richer than we were. The DJ's were rubish too but played some ok tracks. One of the best places featured dancers and depending on the music they were adorned. At one point we had techno and and they wore glowsticks.. The BBQ saturday was tremendous and very enjoyable. I knew my time in Central America was comming to an end. I don't consider Roatan CA.
In the day we did some shopping too.
It was with regret that I parted from the house to go back to La Ceiba, I wanted to buy one last cd by CALLE 13 which features a track called atrevete te te.. and get on my bus for La Ceiba and the white water rafting the river next door offers...
