I dislike fitness first and there are many varied reasons. Another popped up which is a great example why. I saw that a class of Capoeira was running and asked about it. I was told it was free and I had just to tun up (which hasn't been working in the past due to over subscription for other classes) so I tried desperately at 7.30 to book in that day, you have to do it the same day ! Saves them turning the page I guess. But anyway I was told I had to call back at 8.00 so I gave in and did that. I was told I couldn't reserve a place but that the class cost 10 pounds. It was a time for 'reflexion' tonight, the energy levels dipped after a full day of rest and chilaxing at the lovebox festival 2008 headlined by Manu Chao. The little guy with a massive heart and following wore a Brazilian top and it put me into that place of thought. But it was good. From his adventures in South and Central America I decided to continue my own at some point, Brazil might be the starting point..

Just ought to mention the gym has been working, I have lost about 2lbs this week, so I'm down to 75 kilos. I think when I started a couple of months ago I was almost 80 ! No I cant have lost 10lbs.. Its not like before the fat moved from my front to the sides and back yuck. So when I saw that I had to get rid. I'm hoping its going to remain that I keep this lifestyle note I havent changed my diet..and most like 80 percent odd is water..

Im off to Cuba in a few days so watch this space for some interesting entries. I'm really not sure what to expect, but it's going to be 3 weeks of Caribbean weather and some unique culture. I think I'm going to loose weight there oh no they created the mojito didn't they.. I'm just popping home to grab dive computer and underwater housing for my camera.

Again I have to do my yearly write up of Arsenal leaving the champions league. After defeating Milan when the had some great form and played world class these days they cant seem to win a game and loosing is as common as drawing. Not the Arsenal we have been used to. Senderos isnt good enough and thats a fact, time and time again he gets beaten and torres found some space and we were punished here, but we do have some teeth in the shape of theo walcott and we were a match for Liverpool until the penalty late on.

Last night though Liverpool we awarded a shocking penalty which changed everything and the final score 4-2 reflected the last ditch efforts of arsenal to save things.

I was actually watching a poor display from west ham at upton park, a nice experience all the same not sure how they lost really, well they didn't defend a solid piece of quality football and it hurt them.

I have been redesigning the front end - which also means back end for landed. That may all be techspeak but in essence working on my website called landed.at making it look nice and proffesional.
It has been quite a big overhaul and has needed quite a bit of learning the css technology. One area I'm not that hot on but which makes things look good.

Otherwise in life things have been good have gotten to the gym a lot this week but not for too long sessions. Saw you me and dupree which I thought was a good film. Paid for our tv license which is a complete rip off for the use I get out of it, well I better stop there on wasting money to these bodies..

Its only Tuesday and I have fallen in love twice already this week. This city is amazing sometimes. Its ability to draw the best looking women I mean. I have just had 2 back to back nightmare projects for work and they have really made me think twice about my current status as a flash freelancer. Do the reasons why I decided to do this remain vaild ? Im taking the rest of this week to evaluate that. Among other things.

I have finished for the moment at Syzygy, will miss those guys. Was nice, the sort of thing one misses as a contractor. It always bothers me to think that the gap between contracting and full time is so vast, I really dont want to stay contracting but full time conditions dont seem to evolve, I guess one day maybee.

In the meantime I went to St Anton with cheri, mum is getting a new kitchen done by simon, whose health seems to be improving.

I am a week away from completing the first term in Tai Chi, this really worked out for me.

I have been contemplating either passwording this or giving it up. I don't want to do either but really identity fraud is a problem, also not just for me, its pretty doubtful, so I think I will carry on and keep things a bit more generic, and not give up too many secrets.

I didn't manage the Jamaica marathon, im still not djing but I have seriously cut down on the red wine after work habit. Some things are shifting, they needed to. I have some drive and focus is less on Roatan, still like the Caribbean idea. It has been difficult dealing with Canada and wonder about my motivation since it would still be possible via another route.

I went to New York for new year to escape from the boring gap between xmas and new year.
It was a fun time apart from trials with American Airlines aircraft failure and cancellations which made it one of the worse trips, but I guess I was due a few bad flights among the many I have taken, still American Airlines were bad and don't care to much for your comfort or inconvenience. It has not been long since I have been away in Japan. But we have seen it get dark early and the cold to arrive. It has been very dry I have to say and that has been nice for me. But this period has been a slog, somehow stressful the public transport has been bad recently it is always my lowest point I realised last night my times on the tube, stuck with no air im surprised there are not more alarms pulled.
Right now I finished work yesterday and was wound up pretty tight. Yesterday I was finally down with this cold everyone has had. We went over to clapham junction for garths birthday and I really had to rally myself and didn't last long. But I was out. Kebab meat and chips being one of the more enjoyable things that day. But here we go into christmas and the new year and mine onwards to New York and Chicago. It will be cold and the return tiring. Watch this space for that. But first Christmas.
I will return to march cambs tomorrow. I have to drag a lot of presents over that way I hope it goes smoothly.

Tonight we are having dinner chez moi. I am having fajitas with anne and anne. One the landlady and one my co house mate. I have adjusted badly to the Canada news but am now adjusted somewhat. Flux is a difficult state to attain in the physical world. I should say physical sense as we are in a physical world, well some of us, some of us are more spiritual deciding to live in another. Well Im used to the state of flux from my past but I wanted to settle and I had my sights fixed. Canada was going to shake the bottle and wake the drink. This reminds me of that slogan "never knowingly undersold" and I thought hmmm
