The thing that bothers me about karaoke is the instrumental soft music that is supposed to be that rock music you love. I mean it was like the producer was saying- could you soften up that paradise city just a bit, or did it have to be sounding so different otherwise they would be getting some kind of legal issue ?

I took a lesson of capoeira today and swiftly while spinning on my head sprained my neck ! oh yes but that was before I opened up my arm doing a macaque !! I guess my enthusiasm took over but it was a great feeling to be doing it again and though tomorrow I could run a marathon I struggled to handle the overall fitness required in the first half hour of the class. I think I have a good instructor too. The gym has been a stroke of luck a corp membership so I get a 25 m pool classes and full gym, great equipment. I'm quite blown away with what I have in the North of London I don't in the south. After the sprain which I started to treat with the plough position I was taught to do the tambourine. I'm good

I was trying to access the flashVars as if I was creating a flash movie and this is a gotcha afaik.
It semi kind of works if you do get a ref to stage, but there are some strange things that happen and with flex it is better to use the " Application " Instance for doing most things.

I went and saw this film with one of my flatmates jen, It was awesome blew me away. It touched me on a personal level which made the film all the more spectacular. No way a chic flick its funny too. Darts back and forth in time. Well worth the money in my case.

It bothers me when I pass a homeless person and probably you too. If it doesn't and you justify in some way to yourself why that person is there then that's ok by me. I'm not here to talk about that.
I was thinking that there must be some interesting editorial one could get from these guys in return for helping them out but I feel maybe more helping others.
Others going down that route as they feel the demands of modern living seem to pass them by and they slip down the ever increasing gaps that used to be cracks.

Mind the gap - if you fall its a ...well I have no idea I haven't been homeless.

Some may eff and blind and think that one has some ulterior motive and I think some actually think (and they may be right I don't decide right and wrong here) that they exist as they must where they are and that's all they can accept.
But I think that there is a way in which technology can aid this situation if only for a few. Now this is where I open up the discussion for I don't have the answers but I know that if these homeless people were able to in some way get their voice onto the internet it might be quite captivating there is a story to tell. From this traffic ensues and from that revenue that could be ploughed into the charities helping them or even perhaps directly into their pockets.
I have had a couple of beers tonight but this is when I have these ideas and I write therefore that someone might also be interested and also have ideas and put forth.

In short just giving money, does it perpetuate a suffering ? well that's on a level beyond me; for modern day Plato instead. But I would be more interested in knowing about the homeless person I pass every day that is part of my London than some fucking stupid reality tv show that is in fact a reality less real. This nugget of dark matter came to me while listening to live music thinking that London culture is largely passed by and that there could be some marriage between the homeless person you pass on the way to that gig in Shoreditch, it makes a part of that evening's experience albeit a small percentage. So please let me know by comment.

Part of me just thinks I need a slap for thinking such thoughts as celebrity homeless, I want to be a rentonaire, but I know like us all have good intentions its just that good intentions don't go very far. Well if your so inclined the good news is this "Do nothing now !" there will be no problem for us. And I'm really not asking you to donate money as even for myself I don't see this as a solution and I walk by many a time and don't give I think what I am asking for is your ideas or at least input here. I just think that there is room for some VC to make some money here and help the homeless at the same time. I'd have no problem with that.

Proms in the Park 2009 was a highlight of the year. A cloudless sky, for the second time this summer added to the atmosphere which was extreme pleasantness. Good company and food as you can take a picnic, Bary Manillow headlined and this isn't normally the music I would go for but with a queen and rolling stones cover bands some fantastic opera style singing from Catherine Jenkins fireworks at the end and Wogan who could ask for more ? Not I.

Quite amusing disturbing the fact that my Coventry University sent me a letter asking if I would donate to them. "There's never been a better time to give" was one thing they said, I think not but there is a better cause ! Have you been asked for money by your university ?

Coventry were the stingiest body I have ever had the misfortune of being associated with, anything we designed they also got us to sign the rights away to anything we designed while doing our product design degrees, to them.

There was never any money available for materials or anything come to think about it, and I think that there are many more deserving bodies available. I did notice that there are a great many hard working talented individuals working for the benefit of the students at the university but it is undermined by the business first attitude prevalent. And this letter reminded me of that fact.

I went for a swim tonight, drove to mums to check out a property ! The second property that was very nice a 3 bedroom place done up very nicely indeed, If I can get a mortgage might have to put in an offer. The banks are creaming off the low interest rates and don't offer mortgages at such low rates. You can bet they are tied as they rise! No I know we will never win its just like that. Well this place is for 165,000. Its in march. Lets see how it goes.
I had a good swim tried conciously to roll a bit and keep my body straight. I think if i had more practise I would get on better. So did perhaps more crawling tonight but the first thing I noticed wa s my eye piercing and goggles dont go together ! Nearly ripped the bloody thing out ouch.

anyway, overheard this couple hablarin in espanyole so I got chatting to the guy just to check my Spanish and its still there, in fact was flowing away no problem, but gave me a lift also with the Brazil trip on the horizon las cosas son muy bueno tengo mucho , necessito pienso. and indeed I will. I'm staring to feel good after today quiting my first contract albeit for another one but that is just to finsih the dancing dad that I satrted so it seems proper, from now on the terms are different do you hear me agent smith ?

Yes it was nice to have a lift we all need that from time to time and mine is a latino lift. It seems I do love something about that style of life and meeting a colombian and chatting is very good for me.

I have been thinking hard and have come up with an old idea I had shelved as it is still very appealing to me. Essentially I want to create an atmosphere that will be a late night hangout otherwise known as a bar. But the idea is that I decorate a current venue or find my own spot. Will need to get experience in running a bar or hire it in. Investment opportunity might be considered. But I would like to explore getting sets made up and getting a happy medium between the average bar and ..


This satisfies my ideals on the following levels

Creativity - Ambiance, decoration - and there are no limits apart from the venue and local laws. A most exciting part vegas meets your bar. I might
Organics - A business that revolves around people I like to call organic as it is living and breathing, organic isn't a great word.
Changing - I'm unlikely to get bored doing this.

I will learn at some point what blockers there are but at this stage I will happily start here and move on up

Decoration designer creator - made from wood and foam set design. Will no doubt find some links online. This is perhaps a major cost and would mean that a theme must stay 6 months for ROI. I cant see the set costing that much if it is done right, a minimum of facade creation with some flames (silk blowing in lights etc)
